Exclusive roofing leads for roofing contractors

HomeAnvil sells exclusive roofing leads: requests from homeowners who want a roof replaced or repaired, sent first to one roofing company only, in the ZIP codes that company chooses. Every lead comes from our own ads and our own quote form. The homeowner answers questions about the roof and the project before we ask for a phone number, so you know what you are calling about before you dial.

What a HomeAnvil roofing lead is

A roofing lead is one homeowner's request for a price on a shingle roof replacement or repair. It reaches you with:

  • the homeowner's name, phone, email and the address of the roof;
  • every answer they gave on the quote form (the full list is below);
  • the date and time they agreed to be contacted.

Each new lead goes to one contractor only, and nobody else is sent it while your exclusivity window runs (the window is written on your offer). You are not racing other roofers to the same phone number, and the homeowner is not fielding calls from companies they never asked to hear from.

We don't buy leads from other companies and pass them on. Every request starts on our own quote form, after a homeowner clicks one of our own ads or finds one of our roofing guides.

What the homeowner answers before you get the lead

These are the questions our shingle roofing quote form asks, in order, before it asks for an address and contact details. You get every answer with the lead.

A homeowner who picks an answer marked "ends the request" sees a short message and cannot go on, so no lead is sent.

Why the answers come before the phone number

A homeowner who will not say whether they own the home, or what kind of home it is, is not ready to talk to a roofer. The form asks those questions first, and it stops a request from a renter or from a condo, apartment or townhouse, where the owner or an association makes the roofing decision.

The rest of the answers help you plan the first call:

  • Replacement or repair tells you which crew and which estimate you are likely to need.
  • Stories, home size, material and roof age give you a rough scope before anyone climbs a ladder.
  • What matters most tells you whether to lead with the warranty, the price or how the roof will look.
  • Timeline tells you who to call first. A homeowner who wants the work done now should hear from you before one who is still researching.

The first company to reach a homeowner usually wins the job, so call the moment the lead arrives.

How a lead reaches you

  1. A homeowner in your area asks for a quote. They answer the project questions, give their address and agree to be contacted.
  2. We send it to you by the delivery method we set up together on your onboarding call, and we send a test lead before any live ones.
  3. You call. The answers are in front of you when you do.
  4. You tell us what happened: reached, appointment set, sold. We use it to tune your ZIP codes and volume.

How pricing works

Price depends on the trade and your market. We quote your per-lead price on the call, in writing. There is no price list, because a lead in a dense market with many roofers costs more to win than one in a quiet market.

  • You pay per lead from a prepaid balance, charged for each lead your CRM accepts.
  • Your card tops up the balance when it runs low.
  • You set a weekly cap, and you can pause any time.
  • We give you 30 days' written notice before your per-lead price goes up. A price cut takes effect at once, and a lead already sent to you keeps the price it was sent at.

To compare our price with the other ways roofers buy work, read how much roofing leads cost.

Which leads we credit back

Report a bad lead from your portal within 14 days of delivery, unless your agreement says otherwise. Your agreement can set a different window, up to 30 days. We check each return against our records first, and a person reviews any we cannot confirm.

We credit We don't credit
A disconnected or wrong phone number No answer or no callback
An address outside your ZIP codes The homeowner hired someone else
A service you don't buy The homeowner changed their mind
The same homeowner sent to you again within 60 days, unless your agreement says otherwise Price shopping
A homeowner who is already your customer
A request no real person made

Accepted returns are credited back to your balance.

Shingle and metal roofing leads

Shingle and metal roofing are separate trades here, with separate quote forms. A homeowner shopping for a metal roof answers questions about energy efficiency and storm and fire resistance that a shingle buyer is not asked. If your crews install both, you can take both. See metal roofing leads.

Frequently asked questions

Are your roofing leads exclusive?

Yes, while your exclusivity window runs. Each new lead goes to one contractor only, at the fixed per-lead price in your agreement. After the window, a lead may be offered again to other buyers, under the terms the homeowner saw. Exclusive vs. shared leads explains why that changes what a lead is worth.

Do you sell roof repair leads as well as replacements?

The form's first question asks the homeowner to choose a roof replacement or a roof repair, and the lead tells you which they chose. Tell us on the call which of the two you want.

Is there a contract or minimum?

There is no contract term and no cancellation fee. You pay per lead from a prepaid balance, and you can pause or stop any time.

Who is a good fit?

Licensed and insured roofing companies that can call new leads quickly, from owner-run shops to teams with dedicated sales staff.

What areas do you cover?

Contractors in any part of the United States can apply, and we open ZIP codes one market at a time, where we run ads and a contractor covers the area. Tell us your ZIP codes and we'll confirm whether we can supply them. We don't promise volume we can't deliver.
